Jim Poplaski

Jim is a talented and capable voiceover talent. He ventured into the world of voiceovers, because he has always had a passion and a great voice for it. In the world of voice acting, Jim would be an asset in the many different genres of the voiceover industry. The core qualities of Jim’s Voice has a very nice pitch and tone with great texture and rhythm. Jim’s voice falls anywhere between tenors, baritones, and bass but kind and friendly.

While reading scripts for several agents in pursuit of an acting career, he was encouraged by several of them to pursue a career in Voice Overs, Not knowing his wheels were already in motion. Jim has just recently finished his courses with Such A Voice and graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting several years back. He always wanted to pursue a career in radio in the Mid 90’s to become an on air Voice Talent, but his life took several different turns, and has now come full circle. Jim is anxious to work very hard in his voiceover career, and is fully committed to providing his professional services to clients in the near future.

Jim is Health & Physical Education teacher in NJ going on 20 years now. In a lot of ways He feels like he’s already been a voice actor his entire teaching career. He presents his curriculum in different tones, ranges, and voices to engage his students in the learning objective on a daily basis. Jim is also a huge sports fan. Jim played most sports during his youth and High School career. He also played baseball in college, before pursuing career in officiating for over 20 years. He worked Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer games, as well as many county, state tournament, and state final games. Jim gave it up about 5 years ago, and is currently working on a community website just for sports. Its name is Sports Kahuna and should be up and running in the near future. Jim loves live Music, Movies, Comedy Shows, and also loves to cook.
